To do results for your show you must have 3 windows open.
1. Your show to view your entriesco
2.  Wordpad or Notepad (or equivalent)
3.  HDC's Results Randomizer

The first step is to take your classlist and paste it into Wordpad/Notepad, minus the Rules.
Next, start copying and pasting the entries into the appropriate classes.  I usually start with my own horses.
(Example:  If Andrea's entries say she entered her stallion Exuberate into class 1. Open Stallions and class 4. Open Seniors I would copy his name, Exuberate, and go to my classlist open in Wordpad and paste his name under class one, and leave a space, and then class 4, and then leave a space.  Leaving spaces makes it more organized and makes you less likely to make mistakes, so use as many spaces as you'd like.)
Do this for all entries in your show until your list is completely populated.  Take any classes without entries and either put CANCELLED beside their name, or just delete them off of the list all together.
Now look to see what your largest classes are.  Generally any classes with over 10 entries we ask you split as equally as possible  (for fairness), but how little or how much you split the classes is up to you.  They will now be put into sections of A, B, C, etc.
(Example:
Class 1 - Open Stallions had 12 entries, you would split it into sections of six each, so the class would become
Class 1 - Open Stallions (A) and
Class 1 - Open Stallions (B)
And so on)
Once you have split the classes that needed to be split you are ready to do your results.
Now you will copy and paste the entries into the appropriate area in the Results Randomizer.  I personally do not put in class names but I do put in class numbers so that I do not get confused.  This keeps you from having to copy and paste the class name as well.  When the results run though you then copy and paste them back into the list, now with the placements before the horse's names.
When they are complete you should start a new thread with your show name and Results after it.
Then you will take your entire results list from WordPad/Notepad, hit Control (Ctrl) A which will Select All, then copy and paste into your Results thread.

When you have completed this, it is time to find out who you need to do points for.
To get the list of names you need to calculate points for, what I suggest and what I do personally is this (you may choose to do it whatever way you please)...
What you need open is:
1. A new WordPad/Notepad file.
2. The Alphabetizer - check off "Remove Duplicates."
3. Your show entries from the Show board.
Copy and then paste all of the first person's entries into the Alphabetizer and press "Alphabetize."
When it is complete, paste into your Wordpad/Notepad document and carefully weed out class numbers/names and any duplicate horse names that slipped by.  Repeat using everyone's entries.
You will then have the list of everyone who entered.

Now it's time to calculate the points.
What you need open:
1. Your results (either in the Wordpad/Notepad file or from the Results Board.  I suggest Wordpad/Notepad as it is not as easy to make mistakes.)
2.  HDC's Point Calculator
3.  The Wordpad/Notepad document with the names of the horses you need to do points for
Starting by coping the first name on the list, go to your results and press Control (Ctrl) F - this will bring up the Find box which, obviously, will help you find each place the horse's name appears and thus each placement it recieved.
Paste the horse's name into the box and press Find - it will bring you to the first placement the horse recieved.  Now open the Point Calculator and enter the number that appears before the horse's name.  Continue to repeat this process until it has reached the bottom of the page at which point it will tell you "Finished searching the document."
Repeat for each horse.

When you are finished, you organize the list by highest point to lowest and be sure to mark the high point champion.
You should post the finish points list in a response to your results.

Don't worry - it sounds more complicated than it is.  Oh, and you get used to it Wink
If you have any questions or an easier way of doing it, please PM me.
