if you are looking for an active, fun, modern sim with old style roots - you've found it.
HDC was founded in august of 2006 by a group of friends who had played all of what there was to offer for sim games, but had never found anything worth sticking with. coupling together ideas from years worth of experience with fresh new ideas of our own, we set out on making an excitingly modern sim horse game that still kept strong roots in the old styles of board-based sims, and came up with horse of a different color.

in HDC, the most important part of the game is showing your horses. with many competitions being run each day, your horses are able to win their way to earning points and titles that set them apart from others, increasing not only their worth and popularity, but that of their foals as well. daily events including contests, lotteries, and more ensure that HDC stays active, and the more active you say, the more rewards you earn; you can earn yourself cash, creation credits, prizes and more just for being an active member!
HDC prides itself first and foremost on our diverse members and appreciate what each person brings to the game. we do not focus on one breed or discipline; there are many different breeds of horses represented within the game. hdc is currently run by only 2 staff members whose jobs are to keep the game running smoothly, not to micromanage. we try to keep the game as realistic as possible, and as close to our old style sim roots as possible by keeping it simple, and automating only what is necessary (the registry, results & point calculations).
